Supported SAP BO Dashboard Design MS Excel functions

In the new release of SAP BusinessObjects Dashboard Design there will be more MS Excel functions available. In the menu below you’ll find all supported functions. For convenience an explanation of each function is added.

If your are interested in the added functions of the new release, you can download the source file here. You can find the comparison on the 3rd excel sheet in the xlf-file.

Hello Pieter — Thank you for sharing the source file for the MS Excel funtions. What version of Xcelsius do you need to have in order to open/update the file?

Hi Mark,

You’re welcome. The version you need is the newest version of Xcelsius –> Dashboard Design. I downloaded this version via the SAP Service Marketplace.

Hi Peter,
I am working on Dashbaord Design Prototype. I still have Xcelsius 2008 setup on my machine. But I am not able to work with AVERAGEIF function in Dashboard Design. I get message “NOT Supported Function”.
Any idea, what could be the reason for this?

  Hi Alka,
  
  The function “AVERAGEIF” is not supported in Xcelsius 2008. Also the fixpacks will not work.
  
  You can use two alternative functions:
  - COUNTIF and SUMIF
